Description

Health visitors look after all families with children 0 - 5 years old and can offer support and advice on a range of issues including feeding and weaning, development, sleep, minor ailments and toilet training. Some health visitors have additional expertise in working with children with additional needs and their families, and will support the health visiting team with advice and information. Health visitors meet families in a variety of settings including home visits, GP surgeries, community clinics and Children’s Centres. Eligibility

All families with children aged 0 - 5 and women who are pregnant.

Referral

Families can self refer.
